At Cedartown Academy of Performing Arts, we give you the tools to become a dance artist of high caliber. We offer a variety of classes to aspiring dancers among children and adults alike.

About Us

We are an elite performing arts school in Northwest Georgia with more than 45 years of experience. Our school first opened in 1983 but closed in 2000. Cedartown Academy reopened ON AUGUST 18, 2017.

  We will also be discovering and nurturing more talents. Our new dancers will perform at various venues in Cedartown and other areas throughout the year.

Our Edge

Denise Johnson, our founder and director, is a certified teacher by Dance Educators of America an organization of dance teachers certified by test to teach. Under her wing, we provide quality dance education through proper technique. We also concentrate on building a strong foundation in the arts among our students to help them grow as performers.
